At the start of the new year, I embarked on a seven-day confidence challenge with life coach Amy Rushworth. This was something I signed up for as a bit of fun after following Amy (@wellnesswithamy) on Instagram for quite a while and participating in her Make Your Magic online course. Amy set out daily tasks to confront deeper demons and help introduce mindset changes into our routines. The 7-day challenge led me to take action on certain things in my life to help build my confidence. For example, a major task for me was to step out of my comfort zone and attend a women’s networking event in Cardiff, solo.
The event was hosted by @House21 & was held at Little Man Coffee Company in Cardiff. A group of women from all different walks of life attended to hear talks from other women in the city who had started their own businesses, fought their own battles and now have a story to tell. It was an inspiring event, to say the least, and it encouraged me to do more of what I love and what makes me feels good.
So this is it; I love all things wellness, yoga, travel, mental health, fitness, food & fun. I believe in being happy, stepping out of your comfort zone and challenging one’s self. I love finding new things that make me happy – be it a stint of ballet classes, an attempt at knitting or a full-on yoga obsession.
This blog will be my happy place to log what I’m up to – what helps me keep my anxiety at bay – where my latest yoga class is that I recommend – what empowering events I recommend – my latest travel destinations – and anything else I see fit. I want to share these experience with others & if I could encourage just one other person who may need a helping hand, I will be happy. I hope anyone reading this feels a little bit happier, a little bit motivated and a little bit more empowered, because we all deserve to.
